Overview Join our dynamic team as a Banquet Bartender, where you will be the vibrant face behind the bar, delivering exceptional beverage service at elegant events and large-scale functions. This energetic role offers the opportunity to showcase your mixology skills, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to memorable experiences for our guests. You will work in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations. Set up bar stations efficiently for banquet events, ensuring all necessary supplies, garnishes, and tools are stocked and organized. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized drink recommendations and ensuring an enjoyable experience. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or credit transactions responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area throughout shifts, following proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with catering staff and event coordinators to ensure timely beverage service aligned with event schedules. Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and enforce alcohol policies to promote a safe environment. Skills Proven experience in banquet or fine dining environments with strong bartending skills. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or events simultaneously without compromising quality. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques in a hospitality setting. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications. Experience working in nightclubs or catering environments is a plus; familiarity with brewing or food industry operations is beneficial.
