Bartender/service bar

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightlife environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by serving high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced setting. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking drink orders and making recommendations based on preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently to process orders and payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during banquets, catering events, or special functions. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management as necessary. Stay informed about new products, trends in the beverage industry, and local craft brewing options. Experience Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Experience with retail math concepts is an advantage. Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is beneficial. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
