Job Description
Are you a people person? Do you enjoy mixing drinks and providing friendly and professional service? Looking for a chill atmosphere to work-in? We are looking for an outgoing, service-oriented hands-on individual to serve as a part-time bartender at the Hearthside Vine & Tap, our chic and cozy upscale hotel restaurant-lounge featuring great cocktails, choice wines, Maine craft brews, and tasty nosh. Exceptional working environment and competitive wage in addition to tips. The right candidate will be a cheerful person with food & beverage service experience, neat, outgoing, dependable and hands-on individual who's willing to help wherever needed. The position offers 2 evenings (including SATURDAY's) as the primary bartender with additional shifts as a 2nd bartender and fill-in opportunities possible. Shifts start at 3:30 PM until around 11:00 PM. The responsibilities of the position may include: preparing and maintaining bar inventory and minor food prep, greeting each guest with a smile, talking about different curated spirits, craft beers and wine varieties, promptly responding to the needs of guests, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, cleaning and resetting service areas after closing, and generally providing outstanding guest service.
