Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar tools, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales recording. Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service regulations; refuse service when necessary following responsible alcohol service policies. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; perform basic math calculations for change and receipts while maintaining efficiency during busy hours. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling skills required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts; ability to multitask efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and sales calculations; retail math knowledge is a plus. Experience working at events like banquets or catering functions is advantageous; background in the food industry or hospitality preferred. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; nightclub or late-night venue experience is beneficial.
