Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Seasonal Bartender, where your energetic personality and exceptional customer service skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help us deliver top-notch hospitality while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience. Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking, adhering to all alcohol service laws and policies. Assist with setting up for special events such as banquets or nightclub functions, including catering and food service coordination. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights, demonstrating effective time management skills. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in food service, preferably with fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS; previous cashiering or cash handling experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and responsible alcohol service practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests enthusiastically while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order calculations; ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately. Previous banquet or catering experience is desirable; experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly valued. Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons, including nights and weekends; nightclub or brewing background is advantageous.
