Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Barback, where you'll be the backbone of an energetic nightlife environment! In this vital role, you'll support bartenders and the overall operation by ensuring the bar area remains stocked, clean, and inviting. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a lively, seamless experience for guests, whether at a bustling nightclub or a vibrant banquet event. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and customer engagement while working in a fast-paced, fun environment. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and organizing supplies to uphold hygiene standards. Restock bar supplies such as alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and utensils efficiently to ensure smooth service during busy hours. Assist bartenders with food preparation tasks like garnishing drinks or preparing simple snacks for guests. Support with bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas promptly. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing when needed. Help set up and break down catering or banquet events, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly handled. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs in a lively nightclub or event setting. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering experience is a plus. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Experience working in nightclubs, banquet settings, catering events, or hotel environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment. Prior experience with bussing tables, serving guests, or barista work is beneficial but not required.
