Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Barback/Dishwasher, where you'll be the backbone of our bustling venue, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and smooth operations behind the scenes. This energetic role offers the opportunity to support bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff by maintaining a spotless environment, preparing food and beverages when needed, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of all bar and kitchen areas, including washing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper food handling procedures. Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as garnishes, ice, and beverages to ensure efficient service. Support food preparation tasks like slicing fruits or assembling simple menu items under supervision. Clear and buss tables promptly to uphold a clean dining environment for guests. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing when required. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper sanitation practices throughout all duties. Assist with catering setups or banquet events as needed, providing support to ensure event success. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy shifts in nightclub or restaurant settings. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in cash handling and order processing. Experience working in nightclubs, banquet settings, catering events, or hotel environments is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning protocols, food handling safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques is desirable. Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for delivering excellent customer service.
