Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws. Assist in setting up bar stations for events like banquets or nightclub nights, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for change, and reconcile daily sales reports. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or food service events to coordinate timely delivery of drinks and food. Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene throughout all aspects of beverage service. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for sales transactions and retail math calculations. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; cocktail mixing skills are a plus. Prior retail math or hospitality experience is advantageous for managing sales efficiently. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special event shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment.
