Bar Reports to: Bar Manager, General Manager Less Traveled by Long Road Distillers, is a cocktail bar that honors the road Less traveled, paying homage to the folks that think outside the box and are not afraid to get their hands and aprons dirty. We are looking for a part-time barback to round out our FOH team--someone driven by an Expect(ation of) Excellence, to create Memorable Experiences through utilizing an All Hands service model. We are looking for a self-starter who will Jump In and assist the team however necessary, who values Effective Communication, and is able to Stay Curious in learning Long Road's processes and products. This is a hands-on position as part of a growing company, with great potential for growth and advancement. Many of our managers, bartenders, and servers started with us in support positions and developed the knowledge and skill set necessary to take the next step in their career. Essential Duties and Responsibilities to include (but are not limited to):- Assist bartenders, servers, and bar manager by stocking, cleaning, and organizing
- Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, cleaning, and sanitizing as needed
- Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards Applicant Qualifications
- Positive interpersonal skills required
- Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following detailed instructions
- Availability to work on the vast majority of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings Education/Training
- Must be at least 18 years of age
