Bartender

Overview We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and experience working in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Prior experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with excellent time management and sales skills.

• Position starts at $11/hour plus tips.
• 3 weekday shifts and as needed on weekends when large groups are staying with us.
• M-F 3:30-12, S-Sun 3:30-1 Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.

Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours while maintaining quality service standards. Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages. Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with licensing laws. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders when applicable. Assist in event setups such as banquets or catering functions when required. Uphold all health regulations related to food handling and sanitation. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet settings, or similar hospitality environments. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Experience in food industry roles such as serving, catering, or food handling is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Nightclub or banquet experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential.
