BARTENDER
| MeXo MeXo is a Prehispanic Modern Mexican restaurant and agave bar dedicated to celebrating the culture, cuisine, and spirits of Mexico through thoughtful hospitality. We're seeking a bartender who is passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and excited to be part of a team that values craft, professionalism, and continual growth. Whether you're already an agave enthusiast or simply curious to learn, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that great bartending is about far more than making drinks. At MeXo, our bartenders are educators, storytellers, hosts, and hospitality professionals. What You'll Do Create exceptional cocktails and spirit-forward beverages with consistency and attention to detail. Deliver thoughtful, unpretentious experiences for our guests Guide guests through our food, cocktail, tequila, mezcal, and spirits programs with confidence and genuine enthusiasm Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized hospitality to every guest Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar environment Work efficiently during both high-volume service and detail-oriented craft execution Assist with inventory, prep work, stocking, and maintaining operational standards Contribute to a positive team culture built on accountability, respect, and continuous improvement Who Thrives Here Hospitality-first mindset Naturally curious and eager to learn Professional, dependable, and self-motivated Comfortable engaging guests and building relationships Appreciates craft cocktails, spirits, food, and beverage culture Takes pride in excellence without taking themselves too seriously Qualifications 1 year of restaurant bartending experience required Craft cocktail experience strongly preferred High-volume service experience strongly preferred Experience with Toast or similar POS systems preferred Knowledge of tequila, mezcal, and agave spirits is a plus, but not required Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail Must be of legal drinking age What We Offer Opportunity to work with one of the Midwest's most extensive agave spirit collections Ongoing education in tequila, mezcal, agave spirits, cocktails, and hospitality A team focused on growth, professionalism, and creativity Competitive compensation Well qualified and eager candidates are encouraged to email résumés directly to
