Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Weekend Bartender to join our hotel food and beverage team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to hotel guests and visitors while preparing and serving quality beverages in a professional and welcoming environment. This position primarily works Friday and Saturday shifts, including evenings and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards. Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive guest experience. Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and replenishing inventory. Process guest orders accurately and handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions. Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns in a professional manner. Collaborate with restaurant, kitchen, and hotel staff to ensure seamless guest service. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory counts and cleaning procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous bartending experience, ideally in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting. Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Responsible alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) preferred.
Schedule:
Primarily Friday and Saturday evening shifts. Evening, night, and holiday availability required. Additional shifts may be available based on business needs.
