In this role, you will be the face of our venue, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expertly crafted drinks, and a lively atmosphere. You will play a key role in delivering top-tier customer service while ensuring safety and compliance with food handling standards. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, and giving correct change with basic math skills. Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially during high-energy events like nightclub nights or banquets. Restock bar supplies promptly and coordinate with kitchen staff for food service or catering needs when required. Follow all alcohol service laws and policies, including responsible serving practices and verifying guest age where applicable. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in a fine dining settings. Familiarity with craft cocktails, both classic and modern, along with proficiency in using a jigger and other bartender tools. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations. Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, catering, or retail math is highly desirable.
