Full Job Description Position Description:
Position Summary The Bartender is responsible for providing high-quality beverage service to guests in the hotel bar and restaurant. This role ensures a welcoming atmosphere while preparing beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional guest service. Essential Functions Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotions Ensure responsible alcohol service and verify identification as required Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed Handle cash and process transactions accurately Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations Adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards Qualifications Previous bartending experience preferred Knowledge of drink recipes and bar operations Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Alcohol service certification required or ability to obtain Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, and handling bar equipment Work Environment This position operates in a bar and restaurant environment within a full-service hotel and requires efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail.
