Hostess/Server/Bartender/Server Assistant

Job Overview There is a new lounge coming for those Jazz, R&B, and Neo-Soul lovers in Wayne, MI. It will be a gathering spot for the mature crowd, with an ambiance and cocktail program that will be the flagship of Metro Detroit. We are currently seeking experienced and very personable Hostesses, Servers Server Assistants and Bartenders. In these roles, you will be in the center of the establishment, creating wonderful memories for guests through your exceptional service. Our goal with every guest is to Create a Memorable Experience. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will contribute to the lively atmosphere that will keep guests coming back. Our goal is to offer everyone that comes through our door a great, engaging environment with top-tier service, all while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and responsible alcohol serving. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) : Politely and professionally greeting all guests that enter the establishment. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge and bar area, including tables, glassware, and supplies. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS system. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies. Manage multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining quality and speed of service. Collaborate with team members in the responsibilities of the lounge including opening and closing duties. Skills Proficiency with POS systems. Experience in food industry roles such as banquet service and fine dining is a •plus. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to connect with a diversified crowd. Knowledge of proper food handling safety standards, and responsible alcohol serving practices. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails in a hospitality environment. Understand that this is an environment that will have a high expectation of delivering quality service to our guests from its staff. $8.00 - $16.00 per hour
