Server/ Bartender (Part-time)

Endeavor Hotel Group, LLC is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Bartender and Server for The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes located in Baxter, Minnesota! As a Bartender and Server, you will be responsible for providing legendary customer service and ensuring their dining experience is exceptional. This is a fast-paced environment that requires excellent communication skills, fine attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. This position requires you to be at least 18 years of age.

Specific job responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

Greet guests and take their drink orders promptly Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, ensuring accuracy by re-reading back to guests Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses Provide recommendations on food and drink selections based on customer preferences Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Utilize POS system to enter orders accurately Adhere to all health and safety regulations Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner without being intrusive Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders and delivery Assist with setting up, cleaning, and breaking down the bar area and tables efficiently Maintain knowledge of restaurant policies, procedures, and offerings Maintain knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer Cut fruit and prepare ingredients as necessary Show up on time in a proper uniform ready to go Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Complete any additional tasks assigned by management

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Bartender and Server in a high-volume establishment Strong knowledge of mixology and drink recipes Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale system Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours Knowledge of food service and catering procedures is a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Will be required to complete TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) Alcohol Training within 30 days of employment Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be at least 18 years old
