Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, with precision and flair. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring timely delivery. Provide outstanding guest service by engaging with patrons, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations through upselling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy hours to ensure seamless service. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently using POS systems; process payments promptly. Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that aligns with our fine dining or nightclub ambiance. Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage guest bookings effectively and enhance guest relations. Uphold all sanitation standards including proper food safety practices and sanitation protocols to ensure guest safety. Experience Previous experience working as a server or bartender in a restaurant or nightclub setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is essential for efficient order processing. Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages and menu items to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction. Experience in fine dining environments or food industry roles that require attention to detail in food handling and customer service. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy. Experience with host/hostess duties or guest relations roles is a plus for creating welcoming atmospheres.
