Bartender Server

Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems, process transactions efficiently with cash handling and cashiering skills. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times. Engage with guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, recommend drinks or dishes, and ensure a positive experience through excellent customer service. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables or bar patrons seamlessly while balancing sales goals. Assist with setup and breakdown of events or service areas, supporting team members as needed in food preparation or serving duties. Uphold all food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies to promote a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred. Experience with POS systems is preferred and helpful. Demonstrated ability in sales techniques to upsell beverages or menu items while maintaining genuine guest engagement. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is necessary to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong time management skills are crucial for managing multiple tables or bar stations during peak hours. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including basic math for cash handling and retail math for sales tracking enhances your effectiveness in this role.
