JOB SUMMARY

The Bartender is responsible for providing food and beverage service to all our guests. Each evening at Embassy Suites from 5p-6:30p, guests enjoy complimentary beer, wine and cocktails (2 per person) during the Evening Reception. Position is for Bartender who serves during the Evening Reception and then bartends for the Lobby Bar after comp services have ended.

Typical Shift:

3pm -10pm. •Weekend availability required.•

JOB DUTIES

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the hotel's standard drink recipes Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable) Set-up, clean & clear bar/tables, and breakdown throughout the shift Prepare garnishes for drinks Maintain clean and safe work areas at all times Present drink menus, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient Minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position Employees must fulfill their performance standards for this position and comply with company policies, rules and procedures of the hotel, including those set out in the Employee Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or in writing) to employees.
