Job Summary R Social on Main is looking to add one part time Bartender for Monday nights. We would like to find a great match for our hospitality driven concept to fill in on Monday's and possibly other shifts as they become available. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders swiftly. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist in ordering to ensure the bar is fully stocked for busy periods. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs, recognizing signs of intoxication, and ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with team members during catering events, banquets, or nightclub shifts to deliver seamless service in high-energy environments. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency with cashiering and retail math is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like banquets or catering functions. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management; experience with brewing or beverage preparation is advantageous.
