Bartender/Food Runner

Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and Food Runner(Willing to train the right person) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, ensuring all sales are recorded properly. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering stock as needed. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred. Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
