In this role, you will craft memorable experiences by serving and educating our customers about our beers brewed in house and mixing drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every patron receives top-notch service and makes them feel like at home in our space. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to learn about our beer and the process of brewing, while contributing to a dynamic team dedicated to hospitality excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and balancing registers at the end of shifts. Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales while providing excellent customer service. Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and adherence to alcohol service policies. Keep accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and shift reports to support efficient operations. Experience Prior experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced brewery or restaurant, fine dining establishment, nightclub, or banquet setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with Toast POS system is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service policies. Experience with retail math for cash handling, basic math skills for bill splitting, and managing tabs accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests and create a welcoming environment.
