Non-Exempt Experience High school diploma or equivalent One (1) year of bartending experience preferred (country club or upscale dining experience a plus) Job Summary Prepare, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests while delivering professional, attentive service consistent with Norwood Hills Country Club standards. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations Prepare and serve beverages according to standard recipes and club policies Complete bar opening, stocking, cleaning, and closing duties Knowledge of POS systems and ability to process member charges accurately Ability to read and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws Exercise sound judgment in slowing or refusing alcohol service when necessary Maintain a professional, service-oriented demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of emergency procedures Licenses and Special Requirements Alcohol service certification (as required) Food safety certification (as required) Must be of legal age to serve alcohol Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Repetitive motions including bending, reaching, and lifting Work in a fast-paced, indoor bar environment
