Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as clover POS. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and balancing registers at the end of each shift. Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings, while providing excellent customer service. Assist with catering events, banquets, or special functions by serving drinks promptly and professionally. Follow all food safety protocols and alcohol service regulations to ensure compliance with health standards. Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as clover POS for order entry and transaction processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic demeanor that encourages guest loyalty. Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is highly desirable, along with banquet experience. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totals. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced settings within the food industry or hospitality sector.
