POSANA RESTAURANT SOUTH
(posanarestaurant.com) is hiring bartenders to craft exceptional beverage experiences for our guests. This position is essential to our commitment to hospitality and community engagement, ensuring that every drink served contributes to an unforgettable dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including inventory management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Educate guests about drink offerings and make recommendations based on preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems. Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products and service techniques. Qualifications Proven or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, beverage preparation, and presentation techniques, including fine dining wine etiquette. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with TOAST is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
