Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage actively with guests, providing friendly, prompt, and professional customer service to enhance their experience. Manage Toast POS system to process orders efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling and sales records. Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering strictly to food safety and liquor laws, including checking IDs and refusing service when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar surfaces regularly. Collaborate with venue staff to coordinate service during busy nights or special events like concerts or nightclub evenings. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly while ensuring guest satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or beverage industry, preferably within a nightclub, Familiarity with POS systems; experience with cashiering or cash handling is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach that creates a lively atmosphere. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and retail math understanding for sales processing. Previous experience in catering, food industry roles, or retail math is a plus; hospitality background is highly valued.
