Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic part time Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and managing cash handling accurately. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Assist with catering events as needed, providing bartending services for special occasions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods. Stay informed about new drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experience. Skills Proven experience in bartending or related roles within fine dining or hospitality environments. Proficiency in using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems for efficient order processing. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in managing transactions. Basic math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients and cash management. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience for guests. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with customers and team members. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
