We're a fast-paced BBQ smokehouse and bar looking for an experienced bartender who can keep up with volume while delivering an outstanding guest experience. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and personable bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume environment, works well under pressure, and knows how to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately Provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area Handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions accurately Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow all NC ABC laws and responsible serving practices Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties Maintain composure and positive attitude during busy shifts and live music events Help create an energetic, welcoming atmosphere guests want to return to Qualifications Previous bartending experience required (high-volume experience preferred) Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, liquor, and bar operations Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Team player with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance Nights, weekends, and holiday availability required Must meet all age requirements to serve alcohol in North Carolina What We Offer Competitive pay + tips Fast-paced, fun work environment Employee discounts Flexible scheduling Live music atmosphere and great team culture Opportunity to grow with a locally loved restaurant
