Bartender- Part Time -Weekends

Overview Our taproom is looking for a reliable, energetic bartender who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is available to work weekends. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Craft beer and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary. Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system; perform basic math calculations as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate catering events or special functions as required. Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experience. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety and food handling practices. Proficiency in retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management. Experience in fine dining environments is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with Arryved or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for drink preparation measurements and cash transactions. Knowledge of brewing techniques may be beneficial for establishments serving craft beers or specialty drinks. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
