Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Center Edge POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, including cashiering duties, balancing registers, and providing correct change. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and cashier station in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Assist with food handling when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow during peak hours at nightclubs or fine dining events. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or retail math is highly desirable; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities. Knowledge of food safety procedures, proper food handling techniques, and alcohol serving regulations. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with catering or banquet service is beneficial; familiarity with brewing or hospitality industries is advantageous. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift supplies as needed, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
