About Us Created by the founder of Oakwood Pizza Box, St. Pierre is on track to become the area's go-to wine spot. Whether you're savoring a glass of unique wine, nibbling on a small bite, or picking up a bottle (or a dozen) to take home, St. Pierre Wine Bar is the perfect place to indulge in great wine. Job Duties Greet guests as they enter and make them feel welcome in a friendly, approachable manner. Guide guests through our wine selection, offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Serve wine by the glass, bottle, and offer pairings with light fare Assist guests with purchases in the retail space, sharing your knowledge of wines available for sale. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wine offerings, including by-the-glass offerings and new arrivals. Ensure the bar and retail area are tidy, organized, and well-stocked Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate tabs. Maintain health and safety standards and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines. Skills Previous experience in bartending or serving, preferably in a wine-focused setting. A genuine passion for wine with a desire to share your knowledge with others. Ability to create a warm, welcoming environment for guests. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. What we offer Competitive hourly pay plus tips.
