Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Greet guests warmly, take drink orders accurately, and recommend menu items to enhance their experience. Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits. Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age laws and responsible serving practices. Assist with setup, breakdown, and restocking of bar supplies for smooth operation during busy hours. Skills Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours seamlessly. Demonstrated ability in sales techniques to upsell beverages and promote specials effectively. Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a lively atmosphere. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for sales tracking, and restaurant experience knowledge.
