Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide personalized recommendations based on preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies. Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and register balancing. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy hours, including banquet or catering events. Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve multiple tables while maintaining high standards of customer service. Stay informed about menu updates, drink recipes, and current promotions to enhance guest engagement. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and food industry knowledge. Experience with serving at large events like banquets or catering is a plus. Knowledge of beverage brewing techniques or hospitality industry standards is advantageous.
