Job Description

Images Bar & Grill inside The Ramada Midtown Conference Center is hiring a Lead Bartender / Assistant Shift Lead. We are looking for a reliable, experienced bartender with leadership skills who can help run strong shifts, keep the bar organized, and maintain a smooth flow throughout the restaurant. Pay includes a competitive hourly wage plus 100% of your own tips.
Requirements:
1 year or more of bartending experience required 6 months or more of management, shift lead, or leadership experience required. Must be prompt, punctual, dependable, and professional. Must be able to lead by example and keep others on task. Four references will be required.
Duties include:
Leading the bar and providing excellent bartending service. Running organized, efficient shifts. Helping maintain good flow throughout the restaurant. Cleaning, stocking, and keeping the bar area organized. Monitoring bar stock and inventory. Assisting management with inventory and ordering. Supporting the team and helping create a positive work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong bartender, a good leader, reliable, organized, and able to help keep the team focused during busy shifts.

Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Skills Resume and proven working experience as a bartender (preferred) Working knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks Computer literacy Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
