POSITION SUMMARY

WarHorse Gaming Omaha is seeking energetic, professional, and guest-focused individuals to join our team as an On-Call Bartender. In this role, you will provide exceptional beverage service while creating a fun, welcoming, and memorable guest experience for all guests. Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring all service standards and responsible alcohol guidelines are followed. This is an on-call position with flexible scheduling based on business and event needs. Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and serve beverages according to company standards and recipes Provide prompt, friendly, and professional guest service at all times Take beverage orders and engage positively with guests to enhance their experience Promote and upsell cocktails, beer, wine, and featured beverage specials Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale systems Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, coolers, and work areas Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies as needed Monitor guest intoxication levels and take appropriate action when necessary Follow all company policies, safety standards, gaming regulations, and sanitation procedures Work collaboratively with beverage servers, barbacks, and other team members Attend required meetings and training sessions as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 19 years of age High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous bartending or high-volume customer service experience preferred Strong communication and guest service skills Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and responsible serving practices preferred Must be able to obtain and maintain all required gaming and alcohol service certifications/licenses

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced entertainment environment Must be flexible to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

CERTIFICATIONS

Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol Awareness certification preferred or required upon hire
