Bartender Part-Time

American Legion Post 32 in Exeter, NH is looking for a part-time bartender. Our ideal candidate is self-sufficient, motivated, honest, non-dramatic and hard-working. Shifts may include day, nights and weekends. Pay starts at $7.25 per hour plus tips . Pay raise after 90-day probationary period. Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages.
• Handle NH Lottery games (Background check may be required)
• Interact with customers, take orders, serve snacks and drinks.
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets NH State Laws
• Check membership cards, handle membership renewals, and new memberships.
• Maintain guest sign in book, requiring all non-members to sign in.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay focused on guests and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food, beverage, and liquor regulations.
• Enforce club rules and state liquor rules.
• Be welcoming to everyone who comes into the establishment. Qualifications
• Must be 21 or older and be legal to work in the United States.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep calm and professional.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to count change and balance registers.
• Background check will be required.
• Must take the State of NH Liquor Course - Online - Free of charge.
• Experience is helpful but not required.
