Barback The Nash Casino - 1.0 Nashua, NH Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Essential Job Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar throughout the shift. Refill liquor, beer, wine, ice, mixers, and glassware as needed to support continuous service. Properly label, date, cover, and store all prepped items. Rotate inventory to maintain product freshness. Receive, stock, and store liquor and beer orders. Assist with fruit prep, garnishes, and scratch recipe preparation when applicable. Perform all opening, closing, and side‑work duties, including bar setup/breakdown, cleaning, sweeping, and general maintenance. Support bartenders in delivering food, pre‑bussing, and managing guest needs as assigned. Provide friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient service, even during high‑volume or high‑stress periods. Use bar equipment, cleaning agents, and sanitizing products safely and according to MSDS and departmental standards. Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately. Inform the manager on duty of irregularities, equipment concerns, or unusual situations. Maintain compliance with all company, state, and industry regulations related to alcohol service. Demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Assist in training and mentoring new Team Members when requested. Maintain required uniform and appearance standards. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must successfully pass all required background checks. Must complete all alcohol awareness and food/alcohol safety training required by The Nash and obtain appropriate certifications. Internal candidates must have at least six months in their current position with no active corrective action in the same timeframe. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, balance, and twist as needed. Ability to tolerate temperature changes, frequent hand immersion in water, and exposure to cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Ability to communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and vendors. Ability to read and interpret information on POS systems and computer screens. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and respond to visual and auditory cues. Work environment may include exposure to loud noise, guest chatter, overhead music, live entertainment, and areas where smoking is permitted. Must possess manual dexterity to operate bar equipment such as POS terminals, glass washers, utensils, and bar tools.
