This role is responsible for owning the cocktail program while working collaboratively with ownership, with support in place to ensure the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. The right candidate understands how to take creative ideas and translate them into systems that perform consistently during service. Cleanliness, organization, and consistency are core standards of this role and are expected to be upheld at all times. While maintaining these standards, the Head Bartender is also responsible for helping create a fun, high energy, guest driven bar environment. Core Responsibilities Bar Program Lead the development, execution, and consistency of the cocktail program Ensure all drinks are standardized and executed to spec Service & Execution Lead the bar during service with awareness, urgency, and control Maintain a clean, organized, and fully functional workspace at all times Systems & Prep Build and maintain prep systems that support efficient service Oversee and execute bar prep, including fresh juices, syrups, and garnishes Contribute to more detailed prep as needed, including items such as dehydrated fruit and other house made components Ensure the bar is consistently stocked, prepped, and ready Team Leadership Train and guide bartenders on recipes, technique, and standards Maintain accountability and consistency across the team Operations Maintain awareness of inventory, prep levels, and overall bar needs Communicate clearly and contribute to smooth day to day operations Standards & Expectations Cleanliness and organization are non negotiable All cocktails are executed with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail The bar operates in a controlled, structured, and professional manner at all times This role requires ownership, follow through, and accountability both during and outside of service Energy and guest engagement are important, but never at the expense of execution Ideal Candidate Experience in a high volume, quality driven bar is preferred Strong understanding of cocktail technique and execution Demonstrates leadership and the ability to take ownership of a program Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and disciplined workspace Brings presence behind the bar and engages naturally with guests Able to balance a high energy environment with strong operational control Role Structure This is a hands on leadership role. The Lead Bartender is expected to be present during key service times, lead by example, and maintain awareness of the bar's performance both during and outside of service. Ownership provides support to ensure the bar operates at a high level, while this role maintains responsibility for execution, standards, and team performance.
