Bernardsville, NJ Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Monitor customer behavior and respond to any issues or concerns
• Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in the food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments and making change
• Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g. kegs)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Retail math skills, banquet experience, food service experience, and catering experience are a plus.
