Full Job Description Job Summary:

We're seeking a part-time Daytime Opener/Counter Attendant/Bartender to manage opening duties and provide excellent customer service during our Tuesday thru Saturday daytime shifts (3-8:30pm). This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with people, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized space.

Key Responsibilities:

Opening Duties:

Prepare the billiards hall for daily operations, including vacuuming pool tables, cleaning billiard balls, and ensuring the bar and pool room areas are tidy and presentable.

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly, assign pool tables, and provide a friendly, professional experience.

Order Management:

Take food and drink orders (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), prepare drinks, and deliver orders promptly and accurately. Entering all sales into POS system

Facility Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar and pool room areas, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and addressing spills or messes promptly.

Cash Handling:

Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure proper cash-out procedures at the end of the shift.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

Inventory Support:

Assist with checking and restocking bar supplies, such as beverages, garnishes, and napkins, as needed.

Safety Compliance:

Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food and alcohol handling procedures.

Job Requirements:

Availability:

Must be available to work Tuesdays - Saturdays from 3 PM to 8:30 PM.

Experience:

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, bartending or food and beverage is preferred but not required; we're willing to train the right candidate.

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and tips. Comfortable preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (training provided if needed).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform cleaning tasks (e.g., Mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces).

Certifications:

Food handler's permit and/or alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Personal Qualities:

Friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Age Requirement:
