Bartender 190 River Road, Edgewater, NJ 07020 $16 an hour - Part-time $16 an hour - Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable Bartender to join our upscale cigar lounge team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys engaging with guests, and can provide an exceptional experience in a sophisticated lounge environment. In addition to bartending duties, this position plays an important role in cigar sales and member engagement. The successful candidate will be comfortable recommending cigars, educating guests on our selection, and helping drive retail sales while delivering outstanding customer service.

- Monday and Sunday shift available Monday 1pm-12am, Sunday 12pm-12am

- Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with members and guests. Assist guests with selecting and purchasing cigars based on their preferences and experience level. Promote cigar sales, memberships, events, and lounge offerings. Maintain knowledge of our cigar inventory, brands, and featured products. Process cigar and beverage sales accurately using the point-of-sale system. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and humidor area. Verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service regulations. Support lounge events, cigar tastings, and special promotions. Work collaboratively with management and staff to create a welcoming and upscale atmosphere. Meet individual and team sales goals when applicable. Clean ashtrays, clean and maintain the lounge, mop, sweep Experience Previous bartending, hospitality, retail sales, or cigar industry experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable making recommendations and engaging guests in conversation. Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell cigars, beverages, and memberships. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events. Knowledge of premium cigars and spirits is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate.
