The shifts are 4pm - 10:30pm or volume. You would need to be able to help cover vacations and sick days. This position requires the bartender to wait tables as well, with help on the busy weekends. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing exceptional customer service that enhances their overall experience. Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining strong time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards and health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures. Assist in setting up bar stations for events such as banquets or nightclub nights, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready. Follow responsible serving practices, including checking IDs and monitoring alcohol consumption to promote a safe environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender or in food service, preferably within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong skills in sales, serving, and customer service to create positive guest interactions. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing. Previous experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants, catering events, or the food industry is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus.
