Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, and balancing registers with accuracy using retail math skills. Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible serving, especially in nightclub or banquet settings. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils promptly to keep service flowing smoothly. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Follow all health regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and general sanitation practices. Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating tabs, and managing sales transactions efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively, answering questions about menu items, and creating a welcoming environment for diverse clientele. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining or casual restaurant settings is highly preferred. Experience serving in nightclubs or banquet environments is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining quality service. Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, brewing processes, and alcohol serving regulations. Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments. Basic math proficiency for calculating bills, tips, and inventory needs.
