We're looking for a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team and help deliver an outstanding guest experience. Position Overview The Bartender at Brothers Smokehouse is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and delivering exceptional service to both guests and staff. This role requires speed, accuracy, and a great personality to match our fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards Provide friendly, professional service while engaging with guests and promoting menu and drink specials Take orders from bar guests and service tickets from servers Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, tools, and equipment Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all laws Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies as needed Handle cash transactions, balance drawer, and complete end-of-shift reports Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service Qualifications Minimum 2 years of bartending experience preferred Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be at least 21 years old TIPS (or equivalent) certification preferred Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Work Environment This is a fast-paced, high-volume, guest-facing role. Bartenders should be comfortable standing for long periods, lifting kegs or cases, and multitasking under pressure. Compensation $10/hour base wage + tips Tips are earned in addition to base pay and belong to the employee
