The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests by preparing and serving beverages, as well as assisting with food preparation when necessary. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our fine dining establishment. This role does require cooking and serving, as well as weekends and potential to assist with morning coverage. This is a tipped position. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Assist in food handling and preparation, including meal preparation and cooking tasks as needed. Taking orders, cooking and serving food required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies and equipment. Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food service. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, following company policies. Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests. Uphold the standards of fine dining service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Requirements Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food service industry is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food preparation techniques is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with cocktail recipes, wine pairings, and beverage trends is a plus. Must possess a valid bartending license or certification where required by law.
