Bartender

The Bartending Staff is responsible for greeting customers, learning about their preferences, answering questions, recommending menu items, and preparing and serving beverages and food. This is a SEASONAL, full-time or part-time position and reports to the Food Service Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately complete cash, credit card and gift card transactions using point of sale system Upsell to guests by suggesting menu items to accompany beverage selections Prepare beverages consistent with quality and food safety standards Maintain sanitation of the preparation and service areas Stock condiments, napkins, straws, etc. for guest use Clean tables and chairs, sweep/mop floors and empty trash in the bar/dining area Check customer's identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age Mix all drinks based on the standard serving sizes, keeping drink costs at a minimum Transfer products between locations Receive and inventory shipments from vendors Assist with monthly inventory and ordering Participate in other projects and activities as assigned Collaborate with management on specials

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

1+ year experience bartending TIPS training required State required certification

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
