April 2026 SK Hospitality Group is seeking energetic, polished, and hospitality-driven Bartenders to join the opening team of Bueno Restaurant, Bar & Lounge , a fun, trendy Latin fusion restaurant, bar, and lounge located in the heart of the Financial District, moments from the New York Stock Exchange. We are seeking Bartenders who bring personality, confidence, professionalism, and strong beverage expertise to the guest experience. The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume restaurants, cocktail bars, lounges, or upscale-casual dining environments and knows how to deliver excellent service while maintaining energy, pace, accuracy, and polish behind the bar. This role requires strong cocktail knowledge, excellent hospitality instincts, confidence behind the bar, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant, bar, and lounge environment. Bartenders must be comfortable preparing and presenting signature cocktails, classic cocktails, Latin-inspired drinks, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is outgoing, composed, team-oriented, and service-minded, with the ability to engage guests, maintain bar standards, and support both bar and dining room service. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys a lively atmosphere and knows how to balance warm hospitality with high-volume execution in both restaurant and lounge settings. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve signature cocktails, classic cocktails, Latin-inspired beverages, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks with consistency and accuracy Deliver warm, energetic, and attentive bar service that reflects Bueno's fun, trendy, hospitality-forward restaurant, bar, and lounge concept Maintain strong knowledge of the beverage program, including cocktails, tequila, mezcal, rum, wine, beer, spirits, ingredients, flavor profiles, garnishes, and presentation standards Guide guests through beverage selections and confidently recommend cocktails, spirits, wines, and pairings based on guest preferences Maintain working knowledge of Latin fusion menu offerings to support food and beverage pairing recommendations Execute service with strong timing, speed, accuracy, personality, and attention to detail Uphold service standards for bar presentation, drink quality, guest engagement, pacing, and lounge-style hospitality Prepare drinks for bar guests and service tickets efficiently during high-volume periods Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and polished bar throughout service Follow all recipes, portion controls, preparation standards, and responsible alcohol service guidelines Monitor guest satisfaction and respond proactively to feedback or service needs Communicate clearly with servers, barbacks, kitchen, management, and support staff to ensure seamless service execution Maintain composure and professionalism in a high-volume, high-energy restaurant, bar, and lounge environment Participate in pre-shift briefings, ongoing training, menu education, beverage education, and cocktail program updates Support opening, closing, restocking, batching, garnish prep, inventory awareness, and bar maintenance procedures Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and company standards Contribute to a collaborative, team-driven culture across front-of-house and back-of-house teams Qualifications 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, lounge, upscale-casual, or fine dining environment required New York City hospitality experience strongly preferred Experience in Latin, Latin fusion, Mexican, Spanish, Caribbean, South American, or high-energy restaurant/bar/lounge concepts strongly preferred Strong cocktail, spirits, and beverage knowledge required Knowledge of tequila, mezcal, rum, wine, and Latin-inspired cocktails strongly preferred Ability to prepare classic and signature cocktails with speed, consistency, and accuracy Proven ability to deliver engaging, polished, and detail-oriented service in a fast-paced environment Ability to confidently discuss beverage ingredients, flavor profiles, spirits, cocktails, wine, and pairing recommendations with guests Strong guest service instincts with the ability to anticipate needs and create a memorable bar experience Outgoing, personable, and professional presence behind the bar Strong multitasking skills with the ability to perform under pressure Familiarity with POS systems and bar operations Professional, polished, and team-oriented approach to service Work Environment & Expectations Fast-paced, high-volume Latin fusion restaurant, bar, and lounge setting Lively, social, and energetic atmosphere with lounge-style service expectations Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry for extended periods Ability to lift and move cases, kegs, glassware, and bar supplies as needed Impeccable grooming and professional appearance required at all times Ability to maintain composure and deliver excellent service under pressure Commitment to creating a welcoming, upbeat, stylish, and memorable guest experience Willingness to participate in ongoing beverage, cocktail, wine, food, and hospitality training Required Skills High-Volume Bartending Cocktail & Spirits Knowledge Tequila, Mezcal & Rum Knowledge Latin-Inspired Cocktail Knowledge Wine Knowledge Beverage Pairing Knowledge Bar Prep & Organization Guest Engagement Lounge Service Experience Latin Fusion Restaurant Experience Menu Knowledge Communication & Collaboration Service Etiquette Speed, Accuracy & Consistency Time Management Teamwork Professional Presentation Responsible Alcohol Service Join SK Hospitality Group in launching Bueno Restaurant, Bar & Lounge , a fun, trendy Latin fusion destination bringing bold flavors, creative cocktails, lively lounge energy, and vibrant hospitality to New York City's Financial District.
