Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cashiering procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service during events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Assist in training new team members on POS systems, customer service protocols, and safety procedures. Contribute to a lively nightclub or event atmosphere by serving drinks promptly during peak hours. Experience Previous experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred for seamless order management. Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently. Proven ability in sales techniques to upsell beverages and increase revenue opportunities. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices within the food industry. Experience in catering or large event service environments is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management. Background in hospitality or retail math enhances accuracy in transactions and inventory control.
