Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our bar, creating memorable experiences for guests through excellent service and expertly crafted drinks. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, has a flair for mixology, and enjoys engaging with diverse crowds. Your main goal will be to ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and satisfied while maintaining a lively and safe environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about drinks or menu options. Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment in line with alcohol service policies. Support event setups including nightclubs, banquets, or catering functions, ensuring timely service and presentation. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels, reporting shortages, and rotating supplies as needed. Skills Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, or food service environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests from around the world. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving drinks, taking orders, and processing payments. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential. Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus, demonstrating versatility in different hospitality environments. A passion for the food industry combined with hospitality expertise including brewing knowledge or restaurant experience is beneficial.
