Job Description

Captain Lawrence Brewery has been a staple in Westchester for over 20 years and our Beer Hall in Elmsford is the flagship and busiest brewery around. We are looking for
BARTENDERS AND SERVERS
to take an active role during service and work as part of our team to serve our guests. This is a tipped position in addition to the hourly rate of $11.35/hr. We're not just looking for someone who can pour a beer, carry a tray, or ring in an order. We're looking for someone who understands that hospitality is about making people feel welcome, valued, and excited to come back. The right person notices the little things. They greet guests before being greeted. They remember a regular's favorite beer. They spot an empty glass before it's a problem and a guest who looks lost before they have to ask for help. They take pride in creating experiences, not just completing transactions. Our bartenders and servers are often the face of our business. Whether you're recommending a new draft beer, helping a family celebrate a special occasion, or simply making someone's day a little better, your ability to connect with people matters just as much as your technical skills. We're looking for someone who: Naturally enjoys taking care of people Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in doing things the right way Thrives in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality Communicates clearly and professionally with guests and teammates Understands that every interaction contributes to the overall guest experience Is dependable, positive, and willing to jump in wherever needed Hospitality experience is preferred, but a genuine desire to serve others and a commitment to excellence are what matter most.
